Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation OR equivalent experience.5+ years experience writing automation in languages such as Python, Powershell or C#
5+ years experience writing scripts that use REST APIs, Syslog, xml, SNMP, and other Network Management Systems
5+ years experience with TCP/IP fundamentals along with a basic understanding of IP networking MPLS, BGP, ISIS, OSPF and Anycast routingOther Qualifications:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Familiarity/hands on experience with any network device operating systems (Sonic, Arista, Cisco, Juniper)Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) and experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and Windows serversManaging and troubleshooting network issues. Experience working on large scale networks.
Leadership, coordination, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
Motivated to drive leading edge technologies. Understanding of TCP/IP, BGP and AnyCast
Cloud Network Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
