Description

Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Senior Cloud Business Manager to support the CO+I leadership team responsible for Microsoft’s Air Gapped Cloud (AGC) Construction, Program Management and Operations. CO+I AGC is responsible for planning, procurement, building, and operating Microsoft’s AGC infrastructure datacenters.

To help us accelerate achieving our objectives, growth and transformation, we are looking for a candidate, who will report to the AGC GM/Partner leading the Air Gapped Cloud organization. The role will be responsible for working with the leadership team in driving business operations, manage data and analytics for decision making, creating, and managing Rhythm of the Business, driving organizational initiatives, and business process to meet strategic objectives and priorities. This individual must have a blend of strategy, planning, data and analytics, business management, communications, and program management skills to successfully support a Partner. Strategic Execution

Drive strategic alignment and documentation in partnership with the Vice President and their leadership team Partner with The General Manager (GM), Leadership Team (LT) to build and drive short and long-term strategies that meet business goalsLead special strategic projects and drive measurable results to deliver business impactWorking with the data insights team, establish clear methodology to distribute and integrate data analytics and insights to help inform and improve our business strategy

Business Management

Understand the end-to-end business to most effectively manage priorities for the GM and manage interactions for GM; serve as the proxy for the GM, as neededLead semester planning process, driving content and alignment across teams for Greenlight reviews Drive cross team initiatives to manage and drive reductions in operating efficienciesAct as the connection point with CO+I Chief of Staff to lead the team through all of the major annual C+AI, and CO+I milestones and Rhythm of the Business (ROB) activities, including work back schedules and tracking/driving to completion for MBR, Fundamentals, Pillar and Strategic Initiatives reviews

Communications

Ensure success of GM meetings, speaking engagements, partner and team engagements (ex. Town Hall meetings, external speaking events)Tie the communication engagement plan into broader organizational rhythm and resources

Financial Management

Manage the team's Opex and Capex budget, headcount and spend in partnership with finance to ensure effective budget management.Ensure teams have a deep understanding of people/discretionary and non-people spend and drive to quarterly and FY financial targets/accountabilities.Lead fiscal planning process for the team in partnership with finance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience.OR equivalent experience.Other Requirements

5+ years business management or program management in a manufacturing or technology organization 2+ years in business operations or datacenter domain experienceProven project management, data analytics and organization skillsExperience effectively collaborating across groups, to drive clarity and effectiveness in rhythm of business. Experience leading change management across a large organizationProven ability to work in an agile environment Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage complexity while driving clarity. Proven effectiveness driving complex multi-stakeholder planning processes, driving cross-team programs to desired results. Demonstrated capability in verbal and written communicationsBusiness Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
