Description

The mission of the Office of the Chairman and CEO’s communications team is to enable Microsoft to achieve its mission by maximizing the scale, impact, and voice of the Chairman and CEO. We are seeking a CEO Communications Manager to drive content creation across the Chairman & CEO’s social channels.

As the CEO Communications Manager, you will ideate and produce eye-catching, culture-forward content for platforms like LinkedIn, X, and Threads, and emerging platforms. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, production, and social strategy—helping shape how the Chairman and CEO shows up across social media through both responsive and planned content. You will create short-form video, motion graphics, and compelling copy. Equal parts ideation and execution, this role offers the opportunity to shape executive thought leadership, create content for major events, and launch new series. You’ll help ensure the Chairman and CEO’s social content is strategic, on-brand, and audience-aligned, while influencing C-suite messaging.

Lead end-to-end production of social content – from concept to capture to publishing – grounded in platform practices.Capture and produce short-form content at Microsoft events and activations, including executive footage, creator collaborations, and partner storytellingWrite clear, concise, and engaging copy for posts, scripts, and other social media collateral.Collaborate with agencies, internal strategists, and other Microsoft social teams to develop content for campaigns, events, and key cultural moments.Manage production schedules, shoot logistics, footage reviews, and editorial feedback to deliver high-quality assets on time in a fast-paced environment.Experiment and iterate based on performance insights in collaboration with analytics partners.Represent the Office of the Chairman and CEO with internal comms teams to ensure alignment and amplification of messaging.Stay on top of platforms, trends, and audience behaviors to inform future creative direction. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in content creation, digital campaigns, or event-based production1+ year(s) experience producing and editing social-first video across platforms.Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with mobile editing tools (e.g., TikTok, CapCut, Adobe mobile suite).Experience building scalable content playbooks or creative toolkits.High level of discretion when working on confidential matters.Proven storytelling and communication skills – visually and in writing.Executive presence, with the confidence and polish to represent a C-level leader.Calm and resourceful under pressure; low-ego, high-energy contributor.Self-starter with a bias for action and experimentation.Familiarity with brand identity systems and a knack for pushing creative boundaries while staying on-brand.Passion for technology and for Microsoft’s mission.

Communications IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
