Microsoft's Azure Cloud Native Organization is seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Administrator to provide critical support to Leadership, PM and Engineering teams. This role ensures operational excellence, fosters team culture, and drives business priorities forward in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) to support internal and external recruitment efforts, and partners with hiring managers to ensure a smooth process, under guidance of senior colleagues as needed.

Maintains and manages headcount activities, including staff movement/transfers, reporting, offboarding, and transactions within relevant headcount management tools.

You will provide calendar and time planning support for managers, and may manage community space calendars. You’ll also begin to develop relationships with stakeholders across multiple organizations. You will participate in the Business Support community and may mentor colleagues to help them better understand the organization. You’ll also participate in onboarding and act as an essential contact for questions. You will support the planning and coordination of events, as well as help determine other event needs. You’ll also carry out various projects and tasks with little to no supervision. You will oversee inventory management and participate in discretionary budget tracking and reporting. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of rhythm of business (ROB). You will maintain up-to-date space-management processes and team spaces, using data to recommend changes and identify future requirements. You’ll also provide travel arrangements and may create itineraries for daily activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experience OR equivalent experience 1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work Associate's/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) 1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training) 1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training) OR equivalent experience Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $25.10 - $43.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $35.72 - $51.11 per hour.
