The Microsoft Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is responsible for the strategy, design, and implementation of Microsoft’s end-to-end customer experience. The Strategy and Operations team is dedicated to driving the strategic vision and operational excellence across CE&S. We aim to enhance our company's edge by leveraging market insights, fostering innovation, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

As a Business Strategy Manager for the Strategy, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives team, you will lead the annual planning motion across CE&S business units, manage the interface with the broader GTM organization (MCAPS), and contribute to the development and implementation of an “always on” strategy and planning motion for CE&S. You will also spend a meaningful portion of your time helping to drive high profile and high impact cross-functional initiatives that will accelerate our business and delight our customers. This opportunity will allow you to demonstrate your capabilities managing complex programs, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, and engaging with senior leaders. You will work on some of the most impactful programs for our business and also have the opportunity to learn in a fast paced and energetic environment.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in GTM annual planning, preferably at Microsoft, and with strong analytic skill and stakeholder management experience, able to work across complex teams and get things done. You will lead the annual business planning exercise across the Customer Experience and Success Organization, establishing structue, deliverables, and timelines and putting a business rhythm in place to ensure timely completion, review, and sign off of core annual planning deliverables You will work closely across all CE&S business units and work closely with the Microsoft GTM (MCAPS) planning team to orchestrate planning within CE&S and ensure tight alignment with broader GTM planning You will drive continuous improvement of the planning process, including through development and adoption of AI planning agents and other tech and tooling improvements You will define and lead the cross-CE&S rhythm of business for planning You will partner with other strategy leaders (centrally and within CE&S business units) to implement and refine an “always on” planning motion for CE&S You will work on special projects with various business units in which you will structure business challenges, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis driving to key insights, and develop recommendations You will develop written documents, build end-to-end storylines, and deliver project findings and recommendations to senior executives. Qualifications

Required Qualifications /minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years of professional experience including at least 2 years experience in GTM planning at a tech company OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years professional experience, including at least 2 years experience in GTM planning at a tech company OR equivalent experience.Experience leading or working on complex business transformation programs. Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis. Experience in effectively communicating through both spoken and written formats, including creating clear, engaging presentations using tools such as PowerPoint. Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 6+ years of professional experience including at least 2 years experience in GTM planning at a tech company OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years professional experience, including at least 2 years experience in GTM planning at a tech company OR equivalent experience.3+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.Experience working at or with the product, engineering, sales, or support organization at a large high tech company. Excellent top down communication skills and strong executive presence.Business Strategy IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
