Overview

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO+I, the Core Datacenter Services (CDS) team is responsible for the development and implementation of global strategies across our Datacenters (DCs).

As a Business Program Manager for Datacenter Efficiency, you will be responsible for leading and managing our rhythms and engagements around the operational health of our datacenters.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to assess, measure, and communicate expected business, compliance and financial impacts that contribute to the overall operational health of our DCs.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The candidate will have a proven track record in developing frameworks, managing enterprise level programs in a complex environment and optimizing performance across the organization. As a Business Program Manager, you will play a key role in establishing our frameworks and rhythms that will impact our multi-year priorities in the Team.

Responsibilities

Business Program Planning and Design

Identify and scope opportunities to develop rhythms/ new program for managing and assessing the operational health of our DCsGather program requirements, identify resource needs, create the project plan and targets, and works across teams to align on the plan of record. Drive clarity in complex program issues and strives for simplification.Business Program Management

Communicate the portfolio/program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and hold them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes.Demonstrate an understanding of how systems work and impact one another. Work with and leverage other teams to ensure program processes are rigorous and executed efficiently.Business Program Excellence and Execution

Evangelize rhythm and programs to stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain buy in. Leverage data and performance metrics (Objectives and Key Results [OKRs]) to demonstrate the value of the program and show business impact.Adapt a communication style and storytelling strategy according to audience and business needs.Define and execute on a landing and communication plan.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
