Description

Join us in shaping the future of learning at Microsoft. The Worldwide Learning (WWL) Sales Skilling team empowers our global salesforce with the skills and knowledge to succeed. We are seeking a Sr. Business Program Manager to oversee the content and channel discovery that supports the delivery of effective learning experiences to Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) learners.

This role is a force multiplier for learning at scale. As the Content Discoverability Lead for MCAPS Academy, you’ll shape how learning content drives business outcomes by making it easier for the right people to find the right resources at the right time. You’ll lead the strategy behind our SharePoint experience, govern the content catalog and metadata, and optimize discoverability across platforms like Viva Learning.

Your work will directly influence how teams engage with learning, how programs land across the field, and how content connects to performance. You’ll partner across data, tools, delivery, and communications to build systems that are intuitive, scalable, and aligned to business priorities. SharePoint Strategy – Lead design and governance of MCAPS Academy SharePoint as the central learning hub; ensure secure, accessible integrations.

Content Catalog – Own taxonomy, metadata standards, and filtering logic for content discoverability.

Calendar Management – Maintain event accuracy and metadata tagging across MCAPS Academy calendars.

Metadata & Taxonomy – Define standards and champion intuitive navigation.

Discoverability – Optimize content placement and partner with platforms like Viva Learning.

Measurement – Track performance, report insights, and inform strategy.

Collaboration – Connect content, data, and delivery teams; partner with marketing for amplification.

Operational Excellence – Streamline intake processes, support launches, and manage campaigns.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.4+ years in program, project, or operations management. Technical acumen with enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, or Salesforce. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for data analysis and reporting. Additional or preferred qualificationsExperience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders. Communication skills with the ability to influence without authority. 5 or more years of program management experience in technology-driven environments, ideally in learning and development, sales enablement, or marketing operations. Experience with SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, including Power Automate and Power Apps. Strategic mindset with a track record of process improvement and innovation. Experience collaborating with external partners or support teams to align deliverables and integrate contributions into unified execution. Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
