As a Principal Business Program Manager, Regulatory Governance in our Privacy, Safety and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) organization, you will play an integral part in driving this mission, navigating us into the future of innovation, and building trust with our customers and regulators. In Regulatory Governance, our goal is to help create systems and processes for effective compliance and maintaining trust across the four core trust domains - cybersecurity, digital safety, privacy, and responsible AI.This role will play a key part in collaborating with domain experts, business teams, marketing teams and product lawyers to build a connection for our compliance message to our customers and regulators. The person in this role will ensure that Microsoft’s compliance message presented to regulators is informed by implementation of engineering and business implementation of Microsoft’s standards and policies, and consistent with information presented to our customers by marketing teams. The position demands a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and cross-organizational collaboration for success.

Collaborate with trust domains, marketing, engineering, and business partners to identify areas of collaboration (cybersecurity, digital safety, privacy, and responsible AI) to build a consistent and streamlined compliance message for our customers and regulators. Understand signals across our key stakeholders that we can leverage to update our compliance message. Break down business requirements into service-level tasks, ensuring clear, consistent, and actionable documentation for compliance criteria. Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in policy, operations, or Trust & Safety within a business environment.OR equivalent experience.Experience in defining and tracking OKRs/KPIs to measure program success and knowledge of Microsoft’s compliance systems and processes such as Compliance Manager, Purview, Service Trust Portal.

Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
