Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services through planning, building, and operating Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure datacenters across the globe. CO+I is supported by multiple business verticals including supply planning and strategic acquisition, global construction, datacenter and edge site operations, critical environment and availability, engineering, and datacenter innovation.

To help us continue to scale and meet our customer commitments, we’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Business Program Manager, Executive Engagements and Communications to join the Executive Office of the CO+I Corporate Vice President (CVP). As a member of this team, you’ll have unique visibility into a key Microsoft business and the opportunity to drive impact across the CO+I organization. 

As an Executive Engagements and Communication Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategy for the CO+I CVP. By leveraging strategic thinking, meticulous planning, and exceptional execution skills, you’ll ensure the CVP’s priorities and messaging resonates throughout the organization and external audiences. You’ll manage key executive programs end-to-end, orchestrate high-profile executive events, and craft compelling narratives that engage diverse audiences. Your experience in cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, program management, and communication strategy will strengthen organizational alignment and inspire continued excellence.

Executive Program Management: Oversee execution of CVP programs and engagements, providing strategic insights and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Lead a portfolio of complex programs, including project management, stakeholder engagement, success metrics, and alignment to goals. Develop and Implement Programs: Identify opportunities to create and improve programs, aligning them with broader business goals and objectives. Utilize direction and strategy from leadership to influence sponsorship regarding business area of experience in order to create and execute plans that shift current priorities to new organizational initiatives and objectives, and influences others to change behavior accordingly. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead cross-functional stakeholder programs and initiatives, in addition to partnering across teams to lead development of materials supporting executive programs and communications. Partner with senior leaders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the organization. Executive ROB Content Creation and Communication: Craft compelling narratives and supporting content that drives clarity through a range of voices and communications vehicles. Create a range of materials to support the CVP and Leadership Team's strategic goals, aligning with our own rhythm of business (ROB) as well as C+AI and broader Microsoft events and announcements. Engagement and Communications Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive executive engagement and communication strategies, aligning internal and external messaging with organizational priorities. Conceptualize and develop guidance, education, and advice to internal stakeholders and leaders on strategy and storytelling tactics. Executive Event Orchestration: Lead and execute high-impact executive events (such as internal Town Halls or External Conference Guest Speaking events), ensuring engaging content and alignment with strategic goals. Provide thought leadership and identify opportunities to accelerate and strengthen CVP’s position as a trusted partner across the business and industry. Business Acumen: Understand big picture and end-to-end datacenter infrastructure business to help effectively manage priorities for the CVP and Executive Office. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Communications or related field AND 6+ years work experience in executive communications, program management, process improvementOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
