Description

We are looking for a Senior Business Planner - Copilot Consumer to drive Copilot’s growth strategy within Consumer Marketing, shaping how users discover, adopt, and engage with AI-powered experiences across Microsoft’s ecosystem. The Copilot Growth Strategy & Planning Team defines long-term strategic plans, analyzes user behavior trends, and drives initiatives to increase adoption and engagement across Windows, Edge, Bing, and Microsoft 365.

This is a high-impact role that requires analytical skills, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. The leader will collaborate with Consumer Marketing leadership, as well as marketing, product, and data teams, to define success, set growth priorities, track execution to expand Copilot’s reach and influence. This role will play a key part in shaping Copilot’s adoption strategy, working closely with senior leaders to drive critical business decisions and investment strategies.

Drive end-to-end analysis of Copilot user behavior, identifying trends, friction points, and opportunities for growth. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance adoption, engagement, and retention. Define and track key success metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals and cross-functional partners. Partner with marketing, product, and data teams to prioritize and execute high-impact growth initiatives. Lead operational planning and business reviews, providing insights and strategic direction. Monitor market trends, user feedback, and competitive benchmarks to inform growth strategies. Influence senior leadership with data-driven recommendations that drive business impact. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

5+ years experience in strategic planning, market analysis, or a related field within the tech industry. OR equivalent experience.4+ years experience analyzing complex data sets to drive actionable insights.Additional or Preferred Qualifications

8+ years experience in strategic planning, market analysis, or a related field within the tech industry.

AND Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related fieldOR 6+ years experience in strategic planning, market analysis, or a related field within the tech industry AND Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), or related fieldOR equivalent experience.Business Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
