Description
OverviewWe are looking for a Business Operations Program Manager– Global Growth & Revenue Optimization (GGRO) to own the operations and execution of pricing actions, product launches, and region launches across Azure's infrastructure portfolio. This is a high-impact, execution-oriented role at the center of how Azure gets products and pricing to market. You will be the person who turns strategy into commerce reality—driving monthly meter launch, ensuring pricing implementation accuracy, coordinating cross-functional dependencies, and continuously improving the operational engine that underpins GGRO's work.
You will partner closely with engineering, finance, product marketing, operations, and internal GGRO teams (Infrastructure, regional, partnerships, Sovereign) to deliver launches on time and with precision. You should thrive in a high-volume, fast-moving environment and be comfortable navigating ambiguity across systems, processes, and stakeholders.
The Cloud and AI Platforms Monetization (CAPM) organization drives durable profit growth through high-impact monetization strategies, packaging, and pricing across Azure, Windows, and industry offerings. We are growth strategists at our core—collaborative, data-driven, and accountable. Within CAPM, the Global Growth Strategy & Revenue Optimization (GGRO) team owns Azure's regional pricing, product monetization, and yield management across public and sovereign regions.

Responsibilities
Pricing Execution: Own the end-to-end execution of pricing actions across Azure infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Networking), including price changes, new SKU pricing, regional pricing, and competitive adjustments. Ensure pricing is validated, accurately reflected in commerce systems, and launched on schedule.Product & Region Launches: Drive the operational lifecycle for new product launches and regional expansions—from scoping through meter minting, change request (CR) execution, triage, and post-launch validation. Coordinate across cross functional teams, and engineering systems to ensure seamless execution.Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the operational connective tissue between Business Planning, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams. Manage dependencies, escalate blockers, and keep launches moving through a complex, matrixed environment. Process Improvement & Automation: Identify bottlenecks, rework patterns, and inefficiencies in pricing and launch workflows. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cycle time, improve accuracy, and scale execution capacity—partnering with tooling and automation teams where applicable.Quality & Governance: Control meter launch quality to drive meter price accuracy and ensure compliance with price principles, commerce guardrails and standard workflowsInsights & Reporting: Track operational performance metrics (volume, cycle time, error rates, launch health), surface actionable insights, and communicate status to leadership.Other: Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in business planning, operations management, pricing/monetization, program management, finance, consultingOR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years experience in business planning, operations management, pricing/monetization, program management, finance, consultingOR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business planning, operations management, pricing/monetization, program management, finance, consulting,OR equivalent experience.Experience synthesizing data using SQL, validate pricing outputs, and making judgment calls.Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams across cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentExperience in pricing, monetization, or revenue operations.Experience with cloud infrastructure, commerce systems, or platform economics.Experience with launch management tools and workflowsExperience in lean methodology and driving process improvement or automation in operational environments.Experience with data tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) to support analysis and reporting.
Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
