The Monetization and Business Planning (M+BP) team is responsible for developing monetization strategies, including pricing and packaging, for products that represent over $100 billion of annual revenue. We are currently seeking a Senior Business Manager to join our dynamic team.As a member of the Office of the Corporate Vice President (CVP), you will play a crucial role in supporting business operations, enhancing leadership capacity, and driving special projects. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will oversee the execution and implementation of various programs and initiatives. Business Operations
Architect, develop, and execute the rhythm of business (ROB), working with senior leaders to achieve outcomes and manage the cadence of business reviews, ensuring adherence to privacy and compliance standards. Design budgets based on organizational strategy and planned deliverables, partnering with Finance for approval. Develop forecasting plans, oversee the creation of metrics, identify actions for performance improvement, and anticipate business challenges. Coordinate future resources and ensure alignment on the headcount strategy with leadership. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Microsoft teams to create and implement execution plans. Set best practices for strategy, advocate for business cases, and present them to leaders and business partners. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to streamline business strategy and report against targets, adjusting as necessary.
Organizational Health
Monitor team/organization health, support the leader in addressing team culture issues, and lead culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, hiring, onboarding). Track and drive completion rates for role-based compliance trainings and new trainings, ensuring a healthy compliance scorecard for the team/organization. Plan and execute trainings, capitalizing on team strengths and identifying development areas. Support the leader in responding to team culture issues and lead initiatives to improve organizational health. Identify and address development areas to enhance team performance.
Maximizing/Extending the Leader
Leverage relationships to influence and advise on strategic decisions, content, and expertise. Drive the agenda for the leadership team and ensure follow-up on key initiatives. Manage and build relationships with senior leaders and executive internal leaders, interacting with high-level partners. Create alignment within partnerships by providing an objective point of view, ensuring all voices are heard, synthesizing ideas, and creating action plans. Ensure business activities are aligned with the leader’s objectives, supporting the leader in key business management areas. Synthesize information into insights that inform business decisions, leveraging expertise to influence the leader and leadership team.
Special Projects/Programs and Initiatives
Drive cross-team projects to meet changing business needs and manage complex business requirements. Engage in project management or act as a project/program manager to ensure organization-wide implementation of strategic efforts.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 6+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 5+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
Business Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
