Description
As a Business Manager for the Software & Digital Platform (SDP) sales unit within Americas Enterprise, you will help our most strategic ISV, platform and digital native companies achieve their business goals with Microsoft Solutions. You will lead business management for the sales unit VP and engage in a number of strategic priorities within the team and across MCAPS leadership.The Business Manager is a critical role that looks left to right across the sales unit to ensure we are optimizing daily operations, driving a strong team rhythm of business and supporting sales unit leadership on all elements of operational excellence.

Managing the day-to-day running of the SDP businessDriving the SDP rhythm of business (ROB) and executing on sales unit prioritiesResponsible for budget and workforce planning activities and managementMonitoring organizational health and driving the health and culture of the organizationPartnering with the communications lead to drive a thoughtful sequencing of internal and external communications that promote sales unit leadership’s strategy and directionPartnering with the Sales Excellence Lead to rationalize and execute on the sales unit’s enablement programPartnering with the SDP Digital Native team to drive a strong rhythm of business, insight loop and stakeholder managementServing as a trusted advisor to the leader, participating in a variety of special projects, program and initiativesOther: Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 7+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience. 5 + years people management experience.
Business Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
