Description
The IDEAS team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player, and have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. They will also possess the ability to work effectively under pressure, within short time constraints, deal with ambiguity, and have an aptitude to work independently without significant oversight or instruction while achieving results with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.This role is supporting two Partner level managers and their teams (150+ employees) on-site in Redmond, WA. In this role, you will build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple levels within Microsoft, prioritize their own work, make decisions with limited information, and create an inclusive culture and work environment for the team.

Calendar Management: Managing calendars for two Partner Managers, booking rooms, and assisting with AV and technical issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Developing relationships with stakeholders and communicating with external partners. Discipline Growth and Development: Participating in the Business Support community, mentoring colleagues, and supporting onboarding and training. Team Management Support: Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, managing headcount activities. Event Coordination and Logistics: Planning and supporting events, addressing preparatory setbacks, and contributing to team morale. Project Ownership: Executing projects and tasks, identifying risks, and streamlining processes. Resource Management: Planning and tracking equipment and inventory, processing expense reports, and managing budgets. Rhythm of Business (ROB): Understanding business cadence and executing on business cadence. Space Management and Planning: Maintaining space-management processes and supporting large-scale space requests. Travel Management: Arranging travel and creating itineraries. Team Support: Providing team support for 150+ employees, including headcount management, budget, morale events, and alias management. Space Coordination: Managing space coordination, new employee setup, and procurement of goods and services. Vendor Management: Facilitating vendor onboarding and offboarding. Policy Execution: Partnering with team admins to execute policies and business processes. Onsite Presence: Being onsite at least 3 days a week. Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experienceOR equivalent experience.Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.Proficient with expense management software, headcount / employee management software, and CRM tools (ex: HeadTrax, Employee Central, HRInsights, iCIMS, MS Expense). Ability to lift and move standard office equipment (i.e., computers and peripherals). Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize with appropriate urgency to situations. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive material with tact and professionalism. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and be comfortable working independently.
Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.56 - $41.68 per hour.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $34.71 - $48.22 per hour.
