Description

Cloud Operations + Innovation is seeking a skilled Business Administrator to provide support to the GM of the Land Development & Community team within the Cloud Infrastructure Acquisition organization. This role will take on a variety of tasks while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, be able to proactively anticipate needs and shift priorities quickly, be self-motivated, self-aware, and can balance a sense of humor with a sense of responsibility. Candidates should appreciate a fast-paced, energetic work environment, and have a sense of urgency for key deliverables, and be deliberate and forward-thinking in how they approach challenges and operate administratively at scale.

Provides calendar management and time planning support for a General ManagerProvides travel arrangements using Microsoft tools (e.g., accommodations, transportation, security, group codes) for manager(s) and/or groupContributes to and oversees planning, tracking, maintenance, and adjustment of equipment and inventory based on stock requirements and business needsProcesses expense reports with full compliance of Microsoft policy Participates in discretionary budget tracking (e.g., morale, hardware, supplies) and reportingActively participates in the Business Support communityContributes to team experience activitiesCollaborates with Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) to support internal and external recruitment efforts, and partners with hiring managers to ensure a smooth process, under guidance of senior colleagues as neededParticipates in onboarding and assists new employees, vendors, and interns as an essential contact for questionsExecutes various projects and tasks and completes project deliverables with little or no supervisionMaintains up-to-date space-management processes and team spaces (e.g., office locations/desk assignments, private conference rooms, seasonally transitional spaces, remote/location status), with guidancePartners with managers across the organization and senior colleagues to learn and execute processes

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experienceOther Requirements:

Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and government security background screening requirements for this role. These requirements currently include, but may change, and are not limited to:

Microsoft Cloud Screen Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Screen background check upon hire/transfer and every two years after that while in this role. Additional or Preferred Qualifications

3+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration workAssociate's/Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) OR equivalent experience1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training)Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.56 - $41.68 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $34.71 - $48.22 per hour.
