Description

Microsoft Teams Design team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Administrator. The ideal candidate is someone who has communication, organizational skills, time management, great attention to detail, and strength in navigating and juggling multiple priorities and can embrace challenges with high energy and positive attitude. The successful candidate will have demonstrated work experience supporting senior level executives in a fast-paced environment. They have solid planning, organizational and time management skills; are flexible and able to work independently and comfortable operating with ambiguity. The ability to meet deadlines, change direction(s) in rapid response to a fluctuating work environment and able to prioritize multiple projects with a dynamically changing workload is vital. Provides calendar management and time planning support to Teams Core and CMD Partner Design leaders. Can quickly learn and align calendar based on knowledge of manager's priorities and operating styles, is proactive, agile, and flexible with calendaring, ensures preparation of meeting setting, and can manage ambiguous situations with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Able to Gain deeper understanding of rhythm of business (ROB), key stakeholders, and interdependencies within the business and recognizes patterns. Helps to execute on business cadence (scheduling/meeting logistics) around the ROB of the team and identifies patterns. Proactively engages on ROB improvements as needed.Has the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple organizations (e.g., business-support professionals, partners, Human Resources [HR], Finance, event planners, peers) to enable their leader and team's work. Is a team player and has a customer service approach. Can effectively communicate with external partners and audiences.Works closely with the lead EA, COS and Business manager to manage and maintain headcount activities, including staff movement/transfers, reporting, offboarding, and transactions within relevant headcount management tools. Contributes to team experience activities. Collaborates with Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) to support internal and external recruitment efforts, and partners with hiring managers to ensure a smooth process, under guidance of senior colleagues as needed.Coordinates logistics and provides onboarding support for new employees, vendors, and interns as the essential point of contact. Supports planning, coordination, promotion, and support for events and acts as a point of contact for events. Contributes to team morale and team building dynamics. Maintains accurate, detailed information in space database. Supports large-scale space requests liaising between admins, and space planner. Executes various projects and tasks and completes project deliverables with little or no supervision, owning project end to end. Identifies risks and challenges within core area of responsibility and communicates these to relevant stakeholders. Actively participates in the CxD and Teams Admin community.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experienceOR equivalent experience. Experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training)

OR equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.Associate's/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology).Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $25.10 - $43.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $35.72 - $51.11 per hour.
