We’re looking for a craft‑driven Brand Advertising Designer – Digital to create high-impact, digital creative for performance marketing. You’ll design banners and digital assets that are as craft-driven as they are conversion-minded—built to run across modern ad platforms, devices, and placements, paid social and digital advertising.

This role is focused on building the performance layer of our brand—executing static banners and digital ad assets (from illustration and typography systems to photo selection, retouching, compositing, and localization) with exceptional clarity, and craft. You’ll bring ideas to life through graphic design and illustration, partnering closely with creative and marketing teams to test, iterate, and continuously raise the bar. You’ll design within established brand frameworks while pushing craft, clarity, and conversion across formats and placements.

This is a hands‑on, craft-forward role for ambitious designers who love making work that ships—fast. You’ll be close to production, deeply involved in execution, and energized by performance problem-solving: learning from results, and evolving creative through iteration. This role is for people who love the details of production craft, can iterate with intention, and are energized by making work that shows up in the world and delivers measurable impact.

Design and produce static digital advertising assets (banners, tiles, social units) with a high bar for craft, clarity, and brand integrityPartner with creative, marketing, and channel teams to translate strategy into clear performance stories, producing multiple concepts and rapid iterations based on feedback and resultsCreate illustrated elements, typographic treatments, and modular layouts that scale across placements, audiences, and campaign needsHandle photo adjustment and compositing (cropping, retouching, color correction, cutouts) to create polished, on‑brand imagery that reads instantlyBuild and maintain asset toolkits (templates, component libraries, export specs) that improve speed, consistency, and quality across productionPresent work with clear rationale, participate in creative reviews, and incorporate input quickly balancing craft with speed and performance goalsIterate efficiently based on feedback, performance insights, and learnings—delivering variants, refreshes, and localization updates on tight timelinesOwn production details end‑to‑end (file hygiene, exports, versioning, specs) and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, high‑craft studio cultureContribute positively to a collaborative, inclusive, high-output / high-craft studio culture—bringing energy, ownership, and production habits

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Illustration or related art field AND 2+ years experience in art design or a related art field working on computer games or entertainment OR equivalent experienceIndustry experience in Photoshop and Illustrator; industry working knowledge of HTML 5, Figma and well‑defined production workflows (exports, specs, versioning); familiarity with AI‑assisted creative toolsAdditional or preferred qualifications:

International or globally influenced education or mindset valued but not required3+ years’ experience in digital design, advertising production, brand design, or studio workExperience creating performance marketing creative and understanding the realities of digital placements (sizes/ratios, safe areas, file-weight limits, platform specs)Elevated craft in illustration, typography, and photo editing/compositing for static digital assetsPortfolio demonstrating high‑craft static ad creative, illustration, and digital systems across social and displayExcellent taste—and the ability to apply it in a performance context (clarity, speed, and impact without sacrificing brand)

Art IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
