Within CE&S, the Customer Service & Support (CSS) organization builds trust and confidence for every person and organization through delivering a seamless support experience. As a Senior Supportability Program Manager, you will be pivotal to understand and solve product or support issues and drive a great Microsoft customer support experience. You will partner with Microsoft Technical Support key stakeholders and product experts across the company to identify opportunities to improve Microsoft products and envision self-serve capabilities, diagnostic tools and automation capabilities. Responsibilities
Architect secure Azure cloud solutions across IaaS (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers) and PaaS (App Services, Functions, Containers, Key Vault, Storage, SQL, API Management).
Lead security design for new and existing applications, ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and industry standards (CIS, ISO27001, NIST).
Perform end-to-end functional and technical application analysis to identify security gaps, dependencies, and cloud-native enhancements.
Implement security controls: identity & access management (Azure AD / Entra ID), Conditional Access, RBAC, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management, logging, SIEM integration.
Create and maintain Azure landing zones and secure reference architectures.
Ensure ServiceTree hygiene: proper service registration, ownership, tagging, metadata accuracy, dependency mapping, and support documentation.
Drive solutions through security assessments and audits including threat modelling, penetration test preparation, control mapping, and remediation planning.
Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, App Owners, and Risk teams to ensure secure-by-design delivery.
Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and security hardening activities.
Provide architectural guidance, documentation, and best-practice standards.
Qualifications
5+ years in cloud security or cloud architecture roles (Azure focus).
Proven experience implementing secure designs across Azure IaaS & PaaS.
Strong technical architecture skills diagramming, design decisions, trade-off analysis.
Hands-on experience with Azure security capabilities: Azure AD/Entra, Defender for Cloud, NSGs/ASGs, Private Endpoints, Key Vault, Policy, RBAC, Managed Identities, App Gateway/WAF, Storage and SQL security.
Proficiency in reviewing and securing application architectures (web, API, containerized, serverless).
Experience with governance and operational processes: ServiceTree hygiene, tagging governance, asset management.
Experience taking systems through formal security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
Strong ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with IaC (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD security practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Azure certifications: AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-305, SC-100, SC-300, or equivalent.
Experience with Zero Trust architecture and identity-driven security.
Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR (Microsoft Sentinel preferred).
Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
Experience with SAST/DAST tooling, container security, or pipeline hardening.
Previous involvement in enterprise risk management or regulatory compliance (PCI, SOC2, HIPAA).
Ability to automate guardrails or operational scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
