Description
The Collaborative Apps & Platforms (CAP) organization develops essential M365 collaboration tools and agents such as Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Engage, and the Project Agent. As a global engineering and design team, our operations demand sophisticated asset planning and management to meet extensive resource needs.We are hiring for a proactive and creative Asset Procurement Administrator to guide and grow our asset and hardware management program by improving processes and harnessing the capabilities of AI & other Microsoft technologies. This individual manages the device portfolio for a multi-thousand person organization worldwide and will set strategic direction, ensuring new technologies are effectively incorporated to boost efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
The Asset Procurement Administrator oversees all aspects of physical resource management, including the planning, budgeting, ordering and tracking of hardware, inventory, and peripherals. The position focuses on strong partnerships across the administrative community, with central resource teams including for SAW devices, and provides reporting and planning support to teams.
This role requires you to be onsite 5 days a week in Microsoft's offices in Redmond, WA.

Oversee the CAP organization’s hardware portfolio, executing thorough management of all physical resources. Manage assets and peripherals, ensuring proper distribution, ordering, and maintenance of standard equipment, and procuring special equipment as needed. Track and maintain asset inventory, re-imaging returned computers for reuse where possible. Assist with hardware budget forecasting, monitoring all expenditures within approved limits. Coordinate equipment setup and return processes for new arrivals and departing team members. Lead process improvements and development initiatives related to asset management. Design and implement strategies for integrating AI, streamlining operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote successful adoption and use of new technologies. Demonstrate expertise in computers, peripherals, and cable identification. Showcase excellent leadership and communication skills, facilitating collaboration across teams to implement changes. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)OR equivalent experience.2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications:3+ years administrative, business support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $25.10 - $43.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $35.72 - $51.11 per hour.
