Responsibilities
The candidate should have: Optimization infrastructure experience with scheduling algorithms, including translating algorithmic ideas into production-ready components. Design, build, and operate distributed backend services that host scheduling/optimization workflows (e.g., API design, scale-out execution, caching strategies, and data pipelines) on Azure. As a member of the product team, design experiments, create benchmarks and success metrics, and write production code to implement scheduling algorithm(s) with high quality (performance, reliability, observability, and operational excellence). Collaborate closely with research organizations and partner engineering teams to bridge the gap between research and practice, including code reviews, design reviews, and production rollouts.
