Our approach is grounded in Cloud Solution Provider acceleration, co-sell precision, and performance accountability—executed consistently across all solution areas and every stage of the MCEM Win Formula. The Americas Regional Partner Development Manager, is a leadership role that reports to the Microsoft Elevate Global Channel Leader. As the Regional Partner Development Manager, you will bring, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion to drive significant growth and change within our partner ecosystem. Your challenger mindset, knowledge of the technology industry, market insights, understanding of the competitive landscape, and ability to influence for impact will be crucial in empowering your teams to expand our robust ecosystem of world-class partners. As a transformative leader, you will establish deep relationships in the C-Suite and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to tackle complex issues to enable our Partners. Your efforts will enable our partners to deliver market-defining solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

Partner portfolio leadership and optimization - You will establish long-term partner recruitment strategies and expand current partnerships to create a balanced high-performance portfolio, grow business, and anticipate or fill market opportunities.Strategic Vision and Value Partnering / Strategic Alignment - You will lead your team in the creation of a strategic vision, creating and executing business plans that ensure alignment between the overall value of Microsoft and the Partner’s business goals. You will coach and challenge your team to land the partner business plans with partner’s senior leadership.Partner Sales Leadership - You will act as sales manager and coach the team through pipeline and opportunity management, following Microsoft internal sales methodology. You will build a rhythm of business to ensure sales execution with partners in collaboration with internal teams at Microsoft. You will coach teams through resolving blockers to accelerate sales and act as the escalation point for complex situations. Market Insight and Business Opportunity - You will lead and challenge your team to identify top opportunities to pursue with partners incorporating your expertise, market insights, and deep knowledge of the competitive landscape ensuring your teams position Microsoft as the industry leader.Executive Relationship Building - You will guide your team to develop deep relationships with complex partners and provide training and coaching to ensure your teams maintain an understanding of partner and Microsoft priorities and goals. You will be the executive sponsor for top partners and spend more than 50% of your time with partners and customers.Career Development -You will be focused on the development of your team, leveraging resources to help employees grow skillsets, encourage mentorship, and support their career interests. You will have deep extpertise in workforce development, and succession planning, identifying growth opportunities, building development plans with direct reports, and conducting development discussions

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 10+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experienceOR equivalent experience.5+ years people management experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an Advanced Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND 12+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experienceOR equivalent experience.8+ years people management experience.#CELA

Partner Development Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,400 - $243,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,000 - $267,000 per year.
