We drive cross-company alignment and execution, ensuring that we consistently exceed customers’ expectations in every interaction, whether in-product, digital, or human-centered. CE&S is responsible for all up services across the company, including consulting, customer success, and support across Microsoft’s portfolio of solutions and products. Join CE&S and help us accelerate AI transformation for our customers and the world.

As part of the Skilling and Knowledge Experience Team (S&KE) in Microsoft’s Customer Experience & Success (CE&S), this role will shape how we communicate, engage, and operationalize programs in the AI Era. You will own the strategy, creation, and orchestration of communication assets that fuel our learning ecosystem and support AI agents and copilots that rely on high-quality, structured content. You will also serve as a community lead — designing campaigns that drive engagement with our programs — and contribute to portfolio and project management activities that ensure our initiatives land with excellence. This role requires strong AI fluency and hands-on usage of AI tools to accelerate content creation, insights, automation, and operational effectiveness.

This role directly accelerates the team’s AI transformation by ensuring that:

• communications are AI-ready and discoverable,

• communities are engaged and supported through modern techniques,

• our program portfolio runs with clarity, rhythm, and operational excellence, and

• AI tools become embedded in daily practices to multiply impact.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Communication Strategy & AI-Ready Content Management

• Lead the end-to-end creation, organization, and governance of communication assets across channels (Teams, SharePoint, email, Viva Engage, dashboards).

• Ensure communications are optimized for AI agents: structured content, metadata, templates, taxonomies, and continuous updates.

• Use generative AI tools to increase velocity and quality of content creation, including drafting, summarization, translation, sentiment analysis, and formatting.

• Build and maintain an AI-ready content repository enabling copilots and knowledge agents to retrieve the right information.

• Partner with leadership and program owners to deliver clear, consistent narratives aligned to priorities, milestones, and business impact.

2. Community Development & Engagement Campaigns

• Act as a community manager for our internal learning programs, fostering engagement and connection across global audiences.

• Design and execute campaign strategies using modern communication and growth techniques (nudges, behavioral design, storytelling, microcontent, social cues).

• Leverage AI to analyze engagement data, recommend targeting strategies, and optimize campaign performance.

• Identify, adopt, and experiment with cutting-edge engagement practices (AI-driven content personalization, adaptive campaigns, A/B testing).

• Support events, live sessions, and community moments that promote AI fluency and participation.

3. Portfolio & Project Management Office Support

• Provide operational coordination for the team’s key programs, ensuring milestones, updates, risks, and deliverables are tracked and visible.

• Maintain project dashboards, RoB cadences, and executive summaries using AI-powered data aggregation and reporting methods.

• Support intake, prioritization, and governance of new initiatives across the team’s portfolio.

• Use AI tools to automate repeatable PMO processes (status reports, risk summaries, scheduling, document generation, stakeholder analysis).

• Collaborate closely with program leads to ensure alignment to strategy, resource planning, and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in communication, community management, program management, or content operations.

• Demonstrated fluency with generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini) for content creation, data synthesis, workflow automation, and insights.

• Excellent writing and storytelling abilities, with attention to clarity, structure, and user relevance.

• Ability to build structured, searchable, and AI-optimized content repositories.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, Power BI).

• Strong project/portfolio management skills, including structured reporting and stakeholder management.

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze engagement metrics and translate insights into action.

• Proactive, organized, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-evolving AI landscape.

Desired skills for this role include:

• Experience in learning, skilling, or enablement programs.

• Experience running campaigns or communities in a corporate environment.

• Knowledge of behavioral science, storytelling frameworks, or digital engagement strategies.

• Experience with automation, workflow design, or AI agent content orchestration.

• Creative mindset with interest in experimentation and continuous improvement.

• Growth mindset and passion for technical learning and innovation.
