CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. The Senior AI Demand Planner is part of AI Planning which is within the Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP) organization in CSCP. Within AI Planning we embody and lead with these core Microsoft values daily.As an Senior AI Demand Planner, you will be focused on balancing supply and demand constraints through the Execution Horizon by working cross functionality with data center and engineering teams to optimize the plan. This opportunity will allow you to develop deeper business acumen with cloud supply chain, AI, and Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) as you interact across all levels of the organization. In the Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) horizon, you will:
Create the AI-related demand plan in the system and keep it up to date. Perform pre-checks to ensure each demand request has all required prerequisites to enable its seamless execution.Work cross functionally to gather the prerequisites when they’re not completed in advance to keep your demand plan de-risked. Own the execution of changes to your demand plan as business priorities change. Define data driven metrics to sense risk to your demand plan and use data to make decisions.Support S&OE transformation efforts across the Cloud Supply Chain.Other

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experienceOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experience. Experience in program management, process management, process improvement. End-to-end supply chain experience (Example: plan, source, make, deliver) and experience working across those various capabilities. Mindset of continuous improvement and proven capability to synthesize information and draw conclusions. Lean background (belt certifications such as yellow, green or black).Demand Planning IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
