Overview

As an Advanced Identity Global Black Belt (GBB), you will be a senior solution sales leader within our enterprise sales organization working with our most important customers and deals. You will collaborate with a virtual team of technical, partner, marketing and engineering resources to advance the sales process and achieve commercial and technical wins as well as meet and exceed sales target for related workload in your accounts.

You will help customers evaluate their identity environments, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.

GBBs possess extensive experience with executive customer relationships and connections, along with a deep knowledge of our competitor’s offerings, sales strategies, and the ability to cultivate relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

Be an Identity Sales and Technical Expert

Master and articulate Microsoft’s Advanced Identity value proposition.Lead sales and technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, design sessions, proof of concepts, and pilots to explain, demonstrate, and prove to our largest customers the capabilities of Microsoft's Identity offering, and how we can make their businesses more successful.Partner with STU/ATU teams to shape deals and qualify opportunities.Demonstrate technical value through deep expertise in Zero Trust architecture advanced identity solutions, including Entra Suite, Identity Governance, Internet Access, Private Access and Entra Agent ID.Demonstrate negotiation Skills in influencing executive decision-making of C Level executives, Steering Committee, and multi-disciplinary business domain heads.Manage competitive scenarios, including Okta, SailPoint, Saviynt, Palo Alto, Zscaler and Netskope.Win the business and technical decision at customers for sales opportunities and usage scenarios

Be the customer interface and orchestrate a v-team of resources to solve customer problems

Support partner and field sales and technical training and enablement.Identify and remove business, technical, architecture, and competitive blockersAct as a Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft’s Security Advanced Identity Solutions.Understand the capabilities of, strategically be able to work with, influence, build and grow, Microsoft’s customers, internal organizations, and external communities and partners.

Drive and Influence Customer Value

Aggregate, export and communicate actionable insights to accelerate success.Consolidate and scale winnings formulas across teams and OUs.Influence go-to-market strategies and product roadmaps through customer feedback and UAT frameworks.Mentor and inspire peers across sales, services, and marketing.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Solid technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.Knowledge and hands-on experience working with Enterprise customers.Proven track record of delivering sales results, exceeding quotas and managing complex sales pursuits from ideation to close with technical and subject matter expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, data security/compliance/governance or a related field is required, along with several years of relevant experience in security technical and/or sales account roles. Experience with Azure security services and workloads or other public cloud ecosystems.Expertise in developing strategies and architectures for securing networking and identity access workloads.Hands-on experience in consultative sales of enterprise access management, network security solutions, with a specific emphasis on Microsoft's Entra Suite offering.In-depth knowledge of competitors in the identity and SSE space.Proficient in Identity and security conversations.Substantial experience and direct accountability for crafting access and network security vision and architectures for hero use-cases and scenarios in both corporate entities and government sectors. Oversight of the comprehensive sales execution cycle of these strategic initiatives.Well-developed ability to influence without authority to drive change and strong oral & written communication skills, strong influencing skills, experience in public speaking to large and small audiences.
