Description

We are looking to hire an Account Executive to join Microsoft Federal.

Microsoft’s Enterprise Team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey, from envisioning new possibilities to delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and a great customer experience and revenue growth for Microsoft. As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to drive digital technology transformation in partnership with your customer, to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes. Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies. With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, this role will give the opportunity to leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against a territory account plan.

Account Management (Services):

Develops and oversees the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer business outcomes are met.Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.

Customer Engagement:

Proactively develops a solid understanding of the customer’s industry priorities and presents Microsoft solutions based on customer insights. Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.

Customer and Partner Advocacy:

Develop and oversee the execution of account plans to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met.Engage with internal and external stakeholders on business planning to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.Advocate on behalf of customers and partners internally, ensuring their requests and needs are addressed across Mission.

Sales Excellence and Growth: Leads and orchestrates extended virtual teams in each area of product set to consistently achieve growth in market share.

Lead and orchestrate extended virtual teams across solution areas to achieve growth in revenue and market share.Develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans inclusive of internal and commercial solution development and aligned with Microsoft goals and objectives.Promote cloud consumption and digital transformation, considering short and long-term goals and performance expectations.

Industry and Market Knowledge: Proactively builds and maintains knowledge of customers industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions. Coordinate with internal industry experts to gather industry knowledge to improve outcomes for the customer.

Build and maintain a thorough understanding of customers' industries, business strategies, and commercial solution goals.Gain deeper insights through direct engagement in customers' and partners' businesses and operations.Partner development and workload growth.Develop and execute a strategic and tactical partner business plan aligned with Microsoft goals and objectives for managed partners to grow their business. You will promote cloud consumption and digital transformation; plans will consider short and long-term goals and performance expectations aligned with partner needs and capabilities.

Executive Relationship Building:

Build trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite leaders of complex partners and align their priorities, strategies, and goals with Microsoft’s.Facilitate collaboration between customer and Microsoft sales teams to overcome obstacles, ideate on new commercial solutions, and create business plans to meet consumption and revenue targets.

Performance and Impact:

Drive adoption, usage, and performance of programs and investments that contribute to sales and consumption in a sell to and through capacity.Enable customer to build high-impact Microsoft Defense Industrial Base (DIB) offerings and partner practices to grow their business and deliver cloud consumption and digital transformation.Be accountable for partners' performance with Microsoft and maintain a regular rhythm of connection with executive, sales, and delivery teams.

Skills and Capacity Building: Lead the integration of capability and capacity plans for partners, utilizing the right mix of sales and tech training.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

5+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformationOR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformationOR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 2+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformationOR equivalent experience.5+ years experience in technology/cloud solution sales with direct quota accountability for enterprise/commerical/DIB and/or federal strategic accounts. Other Qualifications:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance.Cloud Screening: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance.

Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
