We are currently looking for an Accessibility Product Manager II.

As part of the Microsoft AI (Artificial Intelligence) Accessibility team, you will be an advocate for inclusive design, working with engineering to deliver experiences and meet all the diverse needs of our customers.

Under the Microsoft AI Accessibility program, you will coordinate initiatives across Bing, Copilot, Microsoft News and Microsoft Advertising. You will communicate and engage with executives and connect with customers to gather data to support prioritization of accessible and inclusive design in product roadmaps.

If you have experience running and designing enterprise scale services and platforms, technical depth, familiarity with agile development practices, and experience working directly with engineers both locally and geographically dispersed this is the ideal role for you.

Function as an accessibility technical subject matter expert who monitors industry trends to stay aware of best practices. Influence division processes impacting accessibility compliance with Microsoft’s Accessibility Standard (MAS). Work closely with designers, Product Managers, usability teams, and accessibility professionals to drive practical solutions to complex issues. Coach and guide teams through manual and automated accessibility testing, as well as remediation techniques and methods. Raise awareness about accessibility across the division, creating and fostering internal communities, champions and guides that can help teams achieve their inclusive goals. Other

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience directly working with accessibility standards for technology such as WCAG(Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), Section 508, 255, CVAA ( Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act) , etc. 2+ years of experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS(Job Access With Speech), Narrator, NVDA(Non-Visual Desktop Access), Dragon, VoiceOver, TalkBack, etc. 2+ years of work experience developing websites or apps using HTML, ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) , JavaScript, or other languages. Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.Familiarity with free and paid tools in the market for accessibility evaluations and improvements (tools include manual and automated evaluations). Experience partnering with communities of consumers with disabilities. Certification in Accessibility, for example: Trusted Tester, CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies), or PCWA(Professional Certificate in Web Accessibility). Keen interest in technology, accessibility, and overall quality of Microsoft’s products and services. Proven ability to research accessibility recommendations around emerging trends and technology.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
