Description
Manage data gathering/processing to ensure proper insurance placement. Receive, process, and manage workers' compensation claims for owners, employees, and Responsible Contractors ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. Assist in arranging necessary medical appointments and treatments for injured owners and employees. Review documents and accident reports to determine causes and propose solutions to prevent reoccurring accidents. Provide necessary training to managers and supervisors on how to process workers’ compensation claims.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in medical management related field. 2 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Coordinator or a similar role. Experience with federal, state, and local Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., OSHA, specific state statutes). Experience in utilizing Workers’ Compensation claim management software (e.g., a specific TPA/carrier system) and HRIS platforms for accurate data entry, claims tracking, and generation of reports/metrics.Preferred qualifications: 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple claims simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Ability to manage sensitive, confidential employee information (including medical records and claims data) in strict compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
