Description
Provide leadership and operational excellence across the advertiser and consumer retail ads User Experience (UX) teams to deliver trust building and counsel through all project interactions. Utilize knowledge of the UX craft, methodologies or analytics to build programs across teams. Act as a representative for UX in cross-functional collaborations with engineering and product management teams, connecting all three groups and making sure inter-dependencies are understood. Identify team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation and asset management, driving required changes to make sure UX works efficiently. As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users.
The Retail Ads User Experience (UX) Team includes the consumer and advertiser experiences and delivers value to Google while creating ads experiences that help users in their shopping journey.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in program management within design or UX organizations. Experience with UX-related projects and UX design, user research or user-centered development tools and methodologies.Preferred qualifications: Experience with project management tools and vendor management. Experience in partnering on cross-functional projects or teams in a changing environment. Experience in collaborating with UX teams, and engineering and product management stakeholders to understand and address user issues faced by consumers and advertisers. Knowledge of the product development process for technology products. Ability to communicate with executive stakeholders with excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Extended Qualifications
