Description

Develop a multi-year strategy and roadmap for third-party data center delivery execution, focusing on process optimization, portfolio/project health (cost, schedule, scope) reporting, understanding contractual limitations/liabilities, building scalable solutions and leverage technology/automations to meet growing business demands.

Manage all project issues, risks, and opportunities across multiple functions on third-party Data Center and offsite infrastructure projects. A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As Google expands operations globally, we are focused on growing a highly qualified team to support construction and operations of our expanding footprint in third-party Data Center agreements and offsite infrastructure projects. You will be focused on design, construction and capital project support for ongoing operations. You will provide strategic and tactical leadership over third-party Data Center and offsite infrastructure projects, develop project managers, and serve as the partner/vendor development lead for key developers and construction contractors. You are a proactive manager and subject matter experts with deep experience developing technical facilities. Above all else, you strive to develop a forward thinking and collaborative culture among the various project stakeholders.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them.
