Description
Demand planning and forecasting the rapidly evolving demand for Google's ML infrastructure. Develop and maintain sophisticated demand models, analyzing trends, and collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders across Product Areas (PAs), research, and engineering to gather inputs and validate assumptions. Influence multi-billion dollar investment decisions and ensure that our capacity planning and supply chain are aligned with Google's AI objectives. Organize and lead new workstreams, processes, and automation required to scale operations at a global scale. Work cross-functionally to communicate demand details and insights, drive demand process improvements, and create first-class documentation.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. We aspire to establish industry-leading planning methodologies that are adaptable, transparent, and seamlessly integrated across the ML Fleet ecosystem.
