Description
Lead large-scale, high-impact data center projects, actively unblocking teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring full operational integration. Manage and synchronize complex workstreams, including design, power/utility, network, and site construction. Translate complex technical requirements between software/network engineers and physical infrastructure/construction teams. Navigate a cross-functional environment, communicating effectively with executives and aligning cross-functional teams. Implement and integrate AI-enabled productivity tools and cloud-native collaboration suites to automate reporting, streamline documentation, and predict project risks.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
In this proactive role, you will take ownership of complex infrastructure projects, motivating cross-functional teams, synchronizing multi-disciplinary workstreams, and guiding engineering and construction groups toward flawless implementation. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and ground-level execution, ensuring that our global data center scaling efforts move efficiently from concept to active deployment at pace.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in program management.
8 years of experience in technical program management within infrastructure, hardware, or mission-critical environments. Experience with data center construction lifecycles, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and critical path scheduling. Experience presenting concepts and risk-mitigation strategies to executive leadership.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Computer Engineering. 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience at a major cloud provider or hyperscale data center operator. Experience implementing automation or AI-driven workflows to replace manual tracking and project management processes. Ability to drive results through influence and build trust across global engineering and construction teams. Ability to take ambiguous projects and drive clarity and momentum through strong leadership and organizational skills.
