Description

Coordinate and deliver program communications in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including metrics progress, meeting notes, meeting AIs, decision/escalation logs, newsletters, and websites.

Collect data relating to program progress from program stakeholders. Maintain project trackers and status reports in close collaboration with program stakeholders.

Author program charter that addresses scope and timeline of basic program, specify program Objectives and Key Results, and explain resource requirements/dependencies, in collaboration with program stakeholders.

Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution.

Build cross-functional relationships that create a positive experience with Security and Privacy requirements to drive and scale ‘Secure by Default’ strategy.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

1 year of experience in program management.

Experience in security engineering.

Preferred qualifications: Experience with SQL and building dashboards.

Experience working with concepts like identity and access management.

Understanding of Security, Reliability, Privacy, Compliance domains.

Ability to be an influential member of an integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

1 year of experience in program management.

Experience in security engineering.
