Description

Act as the primary point of contact for significant field issues, coordinating with on-site project managers and construction teams to gather initial data and assess impact. Drive continuous improvement by leading Postmortem and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions, documenting corrective actions, and ensuring close-loop learning across teams are implemented to prevent recurrence. Develop and standardize processes that reduce friction in the project lifecycle, supporting efficient global scaling. Train and guide project teams on new products, best practices, and lessons learned to ensure successful execution. Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and clarification to project teams to help them navigate tests and successfully adopt new standards.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in site-level data center or mission critical installation management. 2 years of experience working with Test Automation and Quality Assurance teams. 2 years of experience in program or technical project management.

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally.

Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field. Six Sigma Blackbelt, Auditor Certifications, American Society for Quality certification (CSQP, CQE, CQM, CRE, or CQA) or equivalent certification/experience. Experience with using Google Workspace, BigQuery, software tools and applications. Ability to scope projects and initiatives.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in site-level data center or mission critical installation management. 2 years of experience working with Test Automation and Quality Assurance teams. 2 years of experience in program or technical project management.
