Description

Set the goal and direction for multiple programs by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/ governance/standards. Drive consistency between cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams. Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of cloud products and solutions. Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other Technical Program Manager (TPM) groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution. Lead and mentor project staff and team members.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with stakeholder management. Experience working with data analytics. Experience with portfolio management.

Preferred qualifications: 10 years of experience in program management. Experience running large cross-organization programs. Ability to exercise technical judgment and demonstrate an understanding of infrastructure/systems.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with stakeholder management. Experience working with data analytics. Experience with portfolio management.
