Description
Drive routine project meetings (e.g., kickoffs, weekly program, status review), manage project resources, and manage multiple concurrent projects to completion per chartered date goals, take meeting minutes and distribute across teams and follow-upDevelop scope, technical requirements, and execution plans for new projects by taking an ambiguous requirement and developing a plan.
Collect, analyze, and manage data from individual sites to generate reports to stakeholders and management teams.
Lead cross-functional project teams composed of Engineers, Operations, Quality and Safety, and more.
Set and manage expectations with internal and external teams to deliver the intended project scope on time and on budget per project goals.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using engineering knowledge and will plan requirements with internal customers, and support projects through the entire project life-cycle managing project schedules, identifying risks and communicating them to project stakeholders.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in technical and product program management related to system integration in managing projects.Preferred qualifications: MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in designing and implementing controls systems and dynamic modeling. Experience in data center compute and system infrastructure development.
Knowledge of Data Center Operational and Life-cycle Management. Ability to work in an organization with a focus on engineering excellence and on product execution.
Extended Qualifications
