Understand and execute ecosystem-positive strategies for agentic adoption and manage cross-product infrastructure to enable high-velocity journeys. Develop safety-audited rules of engagement for autonomous agents performing multi-step plans on Android. Implement least-privilege models to prevent unauthorized permission escalation or access to sensitive user data. Build runtime monitoring to identify agentic drift, recursive loops, or adversarial hijacking attempts. Create self-testing kits to ensure third-party Android agents include robust safety brakes and kill-switches.Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
In this role, you will oversee the safety integrity of autonomous AI agents across the Android platform. Your focus is to bridge the gap between technical agent capabilities and the real-world safety of billions of users. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating the harms that arise when AI agents interact with the OS and third-party apps, ranging from system-level instability to the creation of harmful synthetic media. By developing robust detection nets and enforcement frameworks, you will ensure that agentic features do not become vectors for abuse.
