Description
Collaborate with executive Commerce leaders and relevant cross-functional teams like Large Customer Sales (LCS), Top Partner, Group Product Manager (GPM) to understand existing engagements and key opportunities with our top retail partners. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure engagements are appropriately timed, complementary to Ads efforts and not duplicative with other Trade to Trade (T2T) efforts. Work with cross-functional teams to identify the right executive partner stakeholders and customize narrative as necessary for each engagement. Work with Google executives, including writing briefs and managing post-executives engagement follow-ups. Support the team as needed on other key product areas including Trust, Fulfillment and Brand.In this role, you will be a key piece in relationship building that thrives in a fluid environment, and demonstrate a working knowledge of internal Google processes, products, and teams. You will help in relationships with key industry partners, execute agreements, and track impact, enabling Google to be successful. You have proficiency in skills such as relationship-building, negotiation, project management, and collaboration. You are a positive, team-player excited to help shape Google's future in Shopping and contribute to building a positive, inclusive and fun team culture.
You will lead Shopping Partnership strategy and execution for a new Commerce initiative focused on strengthening executive relationships with our top retail and platform partners. You will educate partners about why our organic experiences, not just Ads, matter to their business. you will strengthen executive relationships and gain commitment to partnering with Google Commerce on key priorities and establish a consistent engagement cadence with partners at the executive level as our roadmap evolves.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, in the Consumer Electronics, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
Experience managing agreements or partnerships. Experience in industry or client retail, shopping, or e-commerce.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in using investigative insight and employing thoughtful structures to solve problems and communicate solutions with knowledge in strategy.
Experience in escalating and presenting key issues and recommendations to executive leadership, and in negotiating complex agreements.
Experience in retail or online commerce.
Excellent team player skills with a positive attitude, and a solution oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate business, financial and other points with partners as well as internal Google teams.
Extended Qualifications
