Description
Lead high-performing partnerships driving business, product and ecosystem objectives with PayTV Operators, OEMs, independent software vendors, system integrators, and other ecosystem partners.Drive growth, business generation and innovation for our TV Platforms in close coordination with overall Google strategies.
Develop and drive execution of a holistic cross-functional and cross-product area GTM for the living room and smart home areas.
Structure and negotiate distribution and integration agreements with PayTV Operators, OEMs, independent software vendors, system integrators, and other ecosystem partners working directly with C-level partner executives and partnering across Google to advance multiple company objectives.
Develop and maintain an expert understanding of the TV and Media industries and other relevant Google product strategies on a global basis. Identify opportunities to influence product strategy and innovation.
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
The TV Platform Partnerships team is focused on expanding the Android and Google TV ecosystem through strategic global partnerships. The core mission is to drive distribution, grow business generation, and pioneer AI integration within the TV ecosystem.
As part of the TV Partnerships team you will be responsible for developing partnerships with PayTV Operators, OEMs, independent software vendors, system integrators, and other ecosystem partners to enhance our operator offerings and grow our nascent B2B business. You will work closely with regional and cross-functional organizations across several product areas at Google to develop aligned Google Living Room strategies. You will build healthy partnerships that secure distribution, grow business generation and enable innovation on Google’s TV Platforms.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$256,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 8 years with advanced degree.
5 years of experience in the TV and Media industry. Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
Experience working with OEMs and PayTV Operators. Experience leading and partnering with global teams and working with partners from different regions and cultures. Proven ability to lead and influence in a complex matrix organization and balance competing priorities. Excellent communication and influencing skills.
