Description
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and influence product and partnership strategy, execute partnership initiatives, develop partnership plans and priorities, influence analysis and communicate recommendations. Identify, create, lead, negotiate and implement effective business development agreements and growth strategies that help scale the Google Wallet product and ecosystem. Maintain consultative business relationships with external stakeholders and gain exposure to partners business initiatives to positively impact Google Wallet growth. Lead business reviews with partners and offer a strategic perspective of the partnership, identifying areas for improvement and growth to meet objectives.Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager for Google Wallet, you will lead our business development and go-to-market efforts for Google Wallet with key ecosystem partners. You will be responsible for originating, implementing and optimizing relationships with the global ecosystem of partners. You will collaborate with the Google Wallet team to define and evolve our overall global go-to-market strategy and identify appropriate partnerships and solutions.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, or Gaming in the Technology industry.Experience working with enterprise partners on a global scale. Experience with product partnerships and negotiating agreements.
Preferred qualifications: MBA degree.
Ability to identify, articulate, escalate and present key issues and recommendations to leadership.
Ability to negotiate and structure agreements, including complex agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with legal to sign and close agreements.
Ability to grasp complex technical, product and partnership concepts to drive products, partners, and the ecosystems.
Ability to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative, and ambiguous start-up environment.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
