Description

Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage strategic partnerships with entities of all sizes.

Develop cross-product area strategic partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet broader Google goals across rapidly changing industries.

Ideate and drive complex agreements with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives.

Serve as the relationship manager for our current existing agreements. Help realize and optimize value from these partnerships while building effective long-term relationships.

Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.

The Research and Core Partnerships team drives innovative research and solve fundamental problems in technology at scale through inclusive and sustainable strategic partnerships across Research, Core, Labs and GDM. This role is part of the Labs Business Development team and will focus on enabling and accelerating Google Labs' mission by identifying, advising, negotiating, and managing strategic opportunities to partner externally, growing developer ecosystems, engaging with content creators and shaping the future of AI.

Labs exists to discover and deliver new AI products that advance Google’s mission. This partnerships role will help accelerate this mission.

As a Strategic Partner Development Lead, you will help drive first-of-kind product partnership strategies and third-party engagements focused on growing and amplifying the Google Labs portfolio. Through focusing on how AI will impact each of the 5 Futures, we will focus on developing impact partnerships in knowledge, software development, creativity, entertainment and work.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, in the Consumer Electronics, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or other advanced degree in AI or a related field.

Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.

Experience managing complex partnerships.

Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, in the Consumer Electronics, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
