Description
Work with customers and cross-functional leads from Product Manager (PM), technical leads, User Experience (UX), and program management to develop a roadmap for accelerating developer growth on Cloud Run. Lead the design and implementation of platform features to increase the developer adoption funnel. Remove onboarding frictions such as configuration complexity and latency. Stay updated with the latest industry trends in AI and the developer ecosystem and influence product roadmaps to align with developer needs. Work with the team on shared responsibilities such as on-call.Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. The Cloud Run team's mission is to accelerate the growth of new developers in Google. Cloud Run is Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) premium Serverless platform for running applications. Cloud Run is used by enterprises of all sizes to run mission critical systems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go. 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects. Experience with the AI Developer Ecosystem.
Extended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go. 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
