Description

Define data center system-level, product architecture, and Research and Development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.

Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.

Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).

With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

12 years of experience in data center power management.

12 years of experience in data center rack design. 12 years of experience with liquid cooling.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a professional engineering license.

Experience in designing modular building scale assemblies, with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis. Experience in estimating, mechanical design, operation, and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment.

Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes.



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

12 years of experience in data center power management.

12 years of experience in data center rack design. 12 years of experience with liquid cooling.
