Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Our team’s mission is to accelerate sustained social impact through technology. Operating within Google.organization, we build the investigative infrastructure that captures the real-world results of our global giving.

We stabilize essential pipelines and organize the data produced by our work with nonprofits. With that foundation secure, we are now launching a strategic re-architecture to meet the growing complexity of the organization.

Our goal is to engineer a unified, trusted data ecosystem that guarantees the integrity, lineage, and standardization of Google.org’s portfolio. By resolving data fragmentation and democratizing access, we are moving toward a self-service model that empowers stakeholders to measure, verify, and maximize our global impact with confidence.

We strive to organize the world's information to make it universally accessible and useful, but we know that relevance means something different to each person. The Social team recognizes that great information is more than pages -- it's also about relationships. We want all of Google's products to reflect something personal, and we're dedicated to making your Google experience centered around you.
