Description

Engage directly with customers to understand data center networking requirements, including connectivity, IP subnets, and compute node needs for managing TPU PODs. Architect and deliver the software and a reference network fabric design, partnering with customers to adopt or extend it. Develop and integrate networking configuration software to bootstrap customer TPU data center installations and enable successful turn-up. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to shape the future of ML infrastructure. Provide technical guidance and mentorship, fostering the growth of team members.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of redefining the future of at-scale computing, contributing to the development of groundbreaking, on-premises AI supercomputers. As a member of a "special project" team, you will build a novel solution for customers with sophisticated security and locality requirements. You will be working on building the next-generation AI hardware and the software that brings it to life as this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a Google-level impact on the future of AI.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. Experience in software engineering, machine learning, machine learning infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. Experience in software development, with proficiency in languages such as Python or C++. Experience in machine learning and AI, with a drive to deepen knowledge of the underlying hardware and software stacks. Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge working within cloud infrastructure and networking along with understanding of cloud computation or data center networking technologies. Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers.

Extended Qualifications
