Description
Develop time-phased supply plans and inventory strategies for hardware demand while managing manufacturing capacity and issues. Drive the process to reconcile demand forecasts with supply capabilities through cross-functional collaboration. Manage the purchase order life-cycle and resolve execution risks such as component shortages or production delays. Coordinate material ramp-ups and transitions for new product introductions to ensure seamless moves from pilot to mass production. Optimize supply chain performance by tracking key KPIs and leading continuous improvement projects to enhance automation and security.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The team is responsible for building trusted global partnerships, accelerating time-to-market, and enabling the hardware foundation that brings Google’s compute, AI, and edge capabilities closer to users. In this role, you will be a critical member of the global distribution center (GDC) supply chain team, responsible for ensuring the optimal balance of supply and demand to achieve service level, inventory, and cost objectives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$274,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
