Description
Drive data infrastructure development programs, including data model and taxonomy design, partner with engineering to implement these elements into tooling configurations. Establish and maintain robust data governance programs and processes across Global Affairs. Conduct comprehensive data and technology assessments, translate business needs into clear and prioritized technical requirements. Develop and own tooling and solutions strategies and roadmaps for Global Affairs data (e.g., data cataloging), actively partnering with engineering teams like Legal and Risk Engineering. Clearly articulate business needs and priorities to engineering teams, influencing their roadmaps and arbitrating competing requirements.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience in program or project management.
Experience with SQL and data modeling.
Preferred qualifications: Experience using and building Data Models, Data Ontologies, and Knowledge Graphs. Experience gathering, interpreting, and presenting data to identify business needs and propose solutions, documented in BRDs and PRDs. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) to effectively communicate insights from data. Experience within legal, compliance, regulatory, risk management, and trust and safety domains. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, fostering and maintaining key relationships. Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
