Description
Translate legal guidance into requirements and controls for technical and non-technical audiences. Work with business/process owners to develop effective processes, policies, controls, and metrics that mature compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Develop and assist business/process owners to close gaps in their controls and adopt processes that will help grow the business in a compliant manner. Coordinate with central compliance teams to ensure compliance programs in Ads are up to company-wide standards, and compliance trainings are delivered to and completed by all relevant employees. Provide general program management support (develop and manage project trackers, provide clear communication to stakeholders, and develop and oversee project timelines) on compliance issues, and other ad-hoc cross-functional projects related to compliance.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. Ad Review Center (ARC) makes risk management easy and accurate. We help Ads Product Area Groups (PAGs) operate faster, with a clear understanding of the compliance obligations and risks that we are operating with, We strive to mitigate the amount of incremental work needed to comply with regulations and other legal obligations by reusing assessments and/controls where possible. We also interface with investigating parties (like auditors or internal compliance teams) and provide details that teams have already shared, eliminating time spent on answering similar queries repeatedly. We help expedite audits with minimal intrusion by also acting as a router across PAGs.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program or project management. 5 years of experience in compliance, information security, IT audit, or risk management. 3 years of experience with the design, development, testing and monitoring of IT application controls (ITAC).Preferred qualifications: Certifications in CISA/CISSP/PMP/CIA/CPA/CFE. 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. 4 years of experience in one of the following: systems auditing, privacy/security, e-commerce, advertising, cloud, online payments, media or content licensing, software development, supply chain, hardware. Experience with data analytics and data interpretation.
Extended Qualifications
