Description

Partner with Google Cloud product teams to evaluate product teams' PLG readiness and enable product teams with the best available tools to take their products to the next level of Product-Led Growth (PLG) maturity. Work with engineering, design, and technical writing teams to ideate and deliver creative solutions to complex problems for a wide variety of archetypes and user roles. Create new, simplified, or dynamic experiences that meet developers and users where they are to complete their jobs-to-be-done. Collaborate across many teams in Google, including, but not limited to, Payments, Risk, and Cloud Billing.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Product-Led Growth (PLG) is a top-level program in Google Developer and Experiences (“GDE”) that allows users and customers to accomplish business goals through easier completion of jobs-to-be-done through self-service flows, across all segments - from individual developers and small startups to the world’s largest enterprises and public sector entities.

In this role, you will enable the 150+ Google Cloud product teams (Engineering, Program Management, UX, and extended roles) to implement product-led growth principles and tools for their products. You will require customer empathy, growth knowledge, and fidelity with data. You will advocate end-user and end-customer success by quantitatively measuring product-market fit, guiding product teams to prioritize the highest leverage work as demonstrated with PLG data, focusing product teams on successful landings instead of operating as feature factories.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI or ML).

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field. 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or platforms. Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving the product vision, defining the GTM strategy, and leading design discussions.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI or ML).
