Contribute to forming a clear, coherent Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) strategy for Privacy Sandbox, and drive it forward getting buy-in from stakeholders across Chrome, Android and the rest of Google. Design and launch private-by-design capabilities to enable different cross-site use-cases. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from Business Development (BD), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Marketing, Legal, and Public Relations (PR). Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution and success of cross-functional projects. Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and research outcomes to look for areas of improvement in the form of new capabilities, features, and services

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will own the product definition, creation, launch, and continued investment in Privacy Sandbox Endpoint Detection and Response capabilities. Engineering Design Review (EDR) represents a new area of research for Privacy Sandbox's Trusted Infrastructure group. You will work with security and privacy researchers, engineers, and product leaders across Google to own the solution.

The Privacy Sandbox initiative aims to create technologies that both protect people's privacy online and give companies and developers tools to build thriving digital businesses. Our team is dedicated to strengthening the Web and Android platform against tracking and fingerprinting, while also developing new privacy-preserving APIs to support personalization and measurement on the web. We are committed to collaborating with stakeholders in the industry to develop and implement viable, alternative solutions in a way that protects the privacy of users while also ensuring the continued vitality of the web.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

3 years of experience with Linux Servers. 3 years of Program Management security experience.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

5 years of experience with system design. 3 years of experience in product management or product design. 1 year of experience with anomaly detection. 1 year of experience with incident response.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

3 years of experience with Linux Servers. 3 years of Program Management security experience.
