Description

Drive strategy, goal and execution of Platform capabilities for Google Distributed Cloud. Define product and process requirements based on business needs and customer use cases.

Drive internal and external teams to design features across all service layers. Partner with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, Technical Leads from other parts of Google Cloud to build the right solution and solve customer problems. Understand and enjoy the issues and opportunities of modern cloud architectures, technologies, application modernization, hardware/software solutions.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

As a Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Product manager, you will define product strategy and design core platform capabilities. You will collaborate with technical partners and cross-functional teams to build high-availability features across the stack. This high-impact role requires technical expertise, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field. 7 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure management. Experience in defining and launching successful cloud-based products.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
